Only Kvyat on track currently.
@Dave: There's a lot of work going on in the garage on his car currently, so it would appear there is something not quite right.
@shabrikk: You say that, but he out-performed Schumacher for three seasons. I felt bad for him that he wasn't taken seriously despite doing that until this year.
Button taking some time out from FP1 to tweet there....
@Shanu: Not just Rosberg, I think a lot of the drivers have been doing it. That's what free practice is for, after all, to find the limits of the track ahead of quali and the race - as well as executing your run plans.
And yes, teams run less fuel in these sessions but these cars are not being marketed that well despite the fact they are quicker than last year on 33% less fuel.
@duggo: Lots of rumours but they certainly won't be entering in the short-term. Audi really dislikes the way Bernie Ecclestone does business - I can't imagine why.
Will $tevens out on track for his first Formula One timed lap in that Caterham.
That joke about a pay driver is far too easy when there's an 's' in the name. Eric$$on being the best one.
Stevens' first time a 1:55.150, which doesn't move him off 20th, but he's got a lot of track running to make up.
@PA: Don't forget Lewi$ and Ro$berg. Wait....
@Ram: I don't think that's an option at all! He's not on the Red Bull young driver programme and never likely to be. I'm afraid Sutil's F1 career looks pretty dead in the water at the moment.
@VS: Any team can miss two races in a season and still complete a season. As Marussia is missing three it if effectively removed from the championship standings. However, Sauber is ahead of Caterham in the points at the moment so they will be the ones overtaking Marussia.
@JorgeDaniel: Both Williams cars were shedding their sidepods in the first half an hour of this session. Bottas' session is over but we haven't heard anything about Massa - but looks unlikely he will re-emere.
Vettel still not happy with how his Red Bull is performing out there.
@villyman: Arriving at this race was crucial for Caterham to retain its F1 entry - which is the most valuable asset the team has. For the administrators owning that is so important in finding a buyer.
@Alberto: Their end goal is to reach F1 but that won't be for a long time yet. Brabham initially wants to do three years of LMP2 in the FIA WEC.
