@Siddhesh: It couldn't be much worse that last year! But positive to see McLaren up and running. It will be interesting to see how much progress they make this year.
@Siddhesh: If you're referring to the bits that ran on the back of the suspension to increase aero last year, then no. But remember this is the first iteration of the car and the focus is on mileage for Honda and not so much aero performance. More updates will come during testing.
Rosberg still racking up the mileage out there. He's on a long run and lapping in the 1:25 mark. Mercedes starting the new year as it ended the last one.
Ericsson and Sainz have joined Rosberg on track.
@FerrariFan: Not currently, no.
Rosberg has completed 19 laps more than the next man, Ericsson (24). Alonso, Vettel and Bottas have completed 16 laps between them.
@tyrone: Not this year, but if they give him a car half capable of doing a job he'll make a go of it. I expect Alonso's ability for driving a car above itself will be crucial this year as McLaren struggles with teething problems.
Red Bull completed 21 laps in four days at Jerez last year. Ricciardo has already eclipsed that this morning.
@mjchaney96: Hard to say so early in the test. All we know is its a lot more reliable than the RB10 was at this stage last year!
Rosberg has just started his 50th lap of the day.
Bottas is back in the Williams. He looks about ready to leave pits for another run out there.
@Ace: The compact rear looks very Red Bull-esque too. However, he joined late last year so wouldn't have had 100% say in the direction of this year's car.
Rosberg is still the only man out there.
Even Vettel Sr gets a branded Ferrari phone.
@andy: Seems he still isn't popular with everyone!
