@F7: Who was your favourite of all time?
@RobCarroll: I think he's good at feedback but not as thorough as Vettel.
@KieranPalmer: Well, unlike certain other teams on the grid, Toro Rosso (with Red Bull) promote for talent not money. That is something you always must remember. Both are inexperienced but we've seen with the likes of Kvyat, Ricciardo and even Vettel when he started in F1, the really talented drivers often adapt quickly to the demands of the sport. It's an exciting season for them - patience will be key but they have two future stars on their books.
The Lotus E23 has just completed it's 13th lap, meaning it has now done more than the 2015 McLaren has in two days.
I think all the drivers complain when things don't go their way, it's the nature of being a world class athlete and thinking you're the best in the world.
This sounds familiar. Hamilton has just completed his 70th lap for Mercedes. His long run pace is still in the 1:27s mark. Mercedes really putting a marker down in these first couple of days.
@MichelePalmer: ESPN seems to think so!
@WilliamT.: Vettel is still in the garage.
Worth noting there's no official lunch break during testing, so teams tend to take a break at different times.
@GC: I'm sure good headline times are pretty good for the team's motivation.
@IfeelthatVerstappenwill...: His problem last year was his failure to adapt to the lower-downforce post-blown diffuser cars of the V6 era. It's no unusual for drivers to struggle when cars change, look at Kimi for instance. He had signs he was getting back to a confident level at the end of last year.
@Aditya: As an impartial journalist I couldn't possibly comment. Growing up my favourite drivers were Michael Schumacher, Alexander Wurz (I loved his helmet design) and Jenson Button.
Hamilton returns to the pits after his 73rd lap and quiet descends on Jerez once again.
@Red_za: I'm not sure if its a revolution as much as an evolution of ideas from the guys at Woking. It's very difficult to just look at a design from another team and copy it like-for-like next year. Plus other teams go in different directions depending on where they think time is to be made.
@Az915: Ron Dennis said yesterday the livery will change again before the season so watch this space.
@MichelePalmer: My favourite hashtag ever. Thanks.
I'm going to do a shameless plug to follow me on Twitter while I'm basking in the love - @natesaundESPNF1 if anyone is interested.
