The quiet in Jerez does not last as Verstappen ventures back out onto the circuit.
@Baffino: Yes. Kvyat managed to have a little off-track moment early in the session, damaged his wing and the team did not have a replacement wing. We had the remarkable sight of Kvyat going out without a front wing for a few slow laps but the team's testing has come to an end.
Button has just five laps to his name. We haven't seen anything from him in a while, the team recently confirmed it is dealing with a "recurring" problem.
@Red_za: Teams occasionally host media breakfasts and lunches, yes.
There is also something in journalism called "off the record". That happens quite a lot.
@KieranPalmer: I feel like I'm in One Direction.
@Divijarsenal: At the moment they are just that, rumours.
Indeed, Verstappen has just returned to the Toro Rosso garage.
Nasr has returned to the track in the Sauber hoping to add to his 45 laps. Sauber has been quietly accumulating the mileage so far in Jerez.
@AnasAbu: Hamilton is in the Mercedes today, Rosberg takes over again tomorrow.
@Salman: Hello Salman. Well, today's issue is a "recurring" one, whereas yesterday it said it was dealing with "niggly" problems so clearly these are the teething issues the team expected early on. Everyone seems pretty calm at McLaren though, so perhaps they think once they're over this hump they can start clocking up the miles.
@Zack: Kimi will be in for the final two days in the SF15-T.
@SpittingCobra: He's kept all his tyres on the black stuff so far!
@SchumiTheGreatest: It certainly beats last year's nose! I looked closely at the RB11 yesterday and that is a nice design too.
@Zack: As someone pointed out earlier, he may well be on a different run plan to Vettel when he gets into the car.
It's likely Vettel's runs have been low fuel. Unlike Mercedes, Ferrari has not completed really long runs over the two days so far.
We've got a wingless Red Bull out on track, joining Maldonado and Verstappen.
I can confirm about 15 of you made a "Red Bull doesn't give you wings" joke after that last update.
@RacingFan: It's very limited. Basically Kvyat keeps going out for installation laps and that's about it. They've just done a pit-stop practice, too, so there's a few things they can do to work around it.
