Raikkonen's medium tyre lap was only good enough for a 1:28.035, which is over 0.2s off Hamilton on the hards.
Nasr holds a big twitch through Turn 9. We've seen a few drivers sideways up there - it's a fast corner to lose the rear end in.
Raikkonen improves to a 1:27.780 to go second. But he is still 0.5s off Vettel.
Hamilton is now back in the car after a few suspension tweaks. He should be back out soon.
@Matt: His pre-season crash was coming out of Turn 3, which is also a very quick corner.
Massa is fourth fastest after his medium tyre lap but 1.452s off the Ferrari of Vettel. However, Williams often run a touch heavier on Fridays.
@CAN: A lot of the driveability is down to the mapping of the engine and getting those to work in harmony. The ICE is turbocharged and the MGU-H is used to fill in the gaps due to turbo lag. The MGU-K offers additional power throughout the lap.
Rosberg can only manage second fastest with a 1:27.616, 0.4s off Vettel.
Hamilton starts his fast lap. It seems the mediums are holding up reasonably well for a second attempt, so maybe Rosberg will bring them back to the correct temperature and push again.
@jee1: Ferrari has got the best correlation between the two for several years since the new wind tunnel came back online.
Hamilton goes fastest on the medium tyres with a 1:26.852. The top four have all completed a lap on mediums now and the order is Mercedes, Ferrari, Mercedes, Ferrari.
However, I'm not convinced we've seen the best of the Mercedes duo yet. Hamilton's time is only 0.04s quicker than the time he set in FP1 on hard tyres and Rosberg is 0.8s slower.
@Leolily: I believe it is a French problème somewhere between the fuel tank and the gearbox.
@Donovan: Rosberg will remain at Mercedes on his current contract for 2016.
@Matt: That was with the old windtunnel at Maranello that was completely overhauled. James Allison has commented several times on the step forward Ferrari has made now it has been updated.
@CAN: Bottas denied he had a pre-contract with Ferrari but he is still a free agent for 2016. Toto Wolff is behind his management, so I would be surprised if he went to Ferrari unless there really is no chance of a Mercedes drive over the next few years.
Alonso is currently ninth fastest and 1.871s off the pace. He tells the engineers: "I think you have a virus in your computer because it [the MGU-K] is not charging anything"
@Itsthekv: It is updated but the focus is on reliability and driveability rather than pure performance, which presumably will come later.
The engines also have new names on Twitter, so make of that what you will...
